A house bisected by light wells
This house is situated in Tel-Aviv in a dense suburban area of small lots of 300 sq.m. on average.
It is an introverted three storey cube with light wells that travel vertically stretching the spatial experience upwards. The entry floor overlooks the basement and the upper level overlooks the entry and basement floor below. Circulation, light, and structure define the central void and disengage the front from the rear.
Tension develops in the horizontal and vertical dimension, elongating the views between outside and inside.
